The upgrade guide tells you exactly what to do, but if you're not familiar with Sage 100, this is no easy task.

Sounds like you did not migrate the data from the Version 4.4 system to the new installation.

Sounds like you are missing the call to your reseller. I would suggest NOT doing your first upgrade by yourself. Work with your reseller on your first upgrade and learn all the ins and outs and you should be able to do the future ones yourself. I would suggest NOT proceeding on your own. Call the reseller.

Thanks BigLouie, I wish I could do that but I work for a MSP and they took on a customer who has no resaller and just bearly a support contract with Sage. So the job got asigned to me to complete. So it sounds like there is a lenghty migration that needs to take place. Can the two versions run parallel in the same network while the migration is going on? I would like be able to do the task during production hours. Thanks again!

You'll need everyone out of MAS while you migrate the data over.............So if you do the conversion during production hours, everyone will need to be out of MAS.

But after you migrate and convert the data, you can run the two systems in parallel.
