Stubborn ODBC driver

We are receiving the following message:

!M003 Specified driver could not be loaded due to sstem error 126: the specified module could not be found.MAS90 ODBC Drive c:\Windows\system32\PVXODBC.DLL

Verion:  MAS200 v4.4 Product Update 4

There are 2 MAS90 ODBC drivers in User DSN.  I can't remove or reconfigure them.  I'd like to remove thenm and perform workstation setup to replace.

Any ideas how to remove a stubborn ODBC driver

  • It's most likely a permissions issue.  Log into the workstation as the administrator user.

    Dawn

  • copy and paste the odbc icon to your desktop:

    Right click , select properties.

on the target and the start in lines, change the system32 to "SysWOW64"

I am getting this same issue. I have tried both of these methods and neither worked for me. This issue started when I replaced a windows XP computer with a Windows 7 machine and transfered the files using the "Easy Transfer Wizard" in Windows 7. It copied over the ODBC connections. I was able to remove the ODBC DSNs through the registry (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ODBC\ODBC.INI\ODBC Data  Sources) However I get the same error when I try to add the DSN back in.

Rerun workstation setup to re-create the sotamas90 odbc datasource.
