On occasion we wil get an error 054 that wil lock up Mas90 for all users and the workstation that receives the error.

 

The error will popup in a white box that takes up most of the computer screen, with Mas90 in the title bar of the window and the error appearing in the lower left corner of the screen.  The exact error is "65000" and directly under that is "Error 054". 

 

The following happens when we get the error:

 

We can't close the error window.

We can't kill any tasks through Task Manger.

Any other workstations in Mas90 are unable to use Mas90.

The workstation with there error has to be turned off with the power button, everything else is completely unresponsive.

Once that workstation is shut off Mas90 will start working on other workstations.

This only happens after 5:00pm when all but two or three workstations are shutdown for the day.

It happens on two workstations always, but only because those are the only two workstations still running after 5:00.

 

Mas90 works great during the day and never locks up or slows down with 6 to 11 people (workstations) using it at any given time: therefore, I really don't think it's a permissions/rights issue, or hardware (and I have checked all those settings anyway).

 

All workstations are WindowsXP sp2 or higher, and the server is Server2008.  All are running Norton and are setup to exclude the drives and file extensions for Mas.

 

I've searched the KB and have not found this exact error, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
