We are currently running the application and SQL server in one server. We're planning to move the SQL database to a new server. What will be the process involved?

Basically, the application server will temporarily stay in the current server. The SQL database will be moved to a new server. What is the process of pointing the application server to connect to the new SQL server?

I've tried searching the forum and knowledge base, however I was unable to find a definitive answer. If there's already a post detailing the process, would you please provide the link?

Currently running Sage 100 ERP 2013 Premium PU4.
