Remove Sage 100 & CRM Integration

Hello,

I am looking for the best way to remove (break) the Sage 100 ERP & CRM 7.2d integration that is setup. The only solution i can find is to completely delete the Sage 10 company and re-create it. Our goal is to restore our CRM backup and break any relationship (integration) with sage 100. Anyone have any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated.

It appears you are using Sage 100 ERP 2013 or 2014 version based on the fact that CRM 7.2 d is integrated.   You cannot go into Sage 100 ERP, Library Master, Main, Company Maintenance and remove the Customer Relationship Management module from the company as it is no longer listed there as it was in older versions.

I would recommend contacting your Sage Partner or CRM consultant regarding removing and reconfiguring the Sage 100 ERP integration with Sage CRM.

    Here is why:

CRM Company Options (Sage 100 ERP, Customer Relationship Management, Main) will not allow you to Delete them once set up so you would need to remove these settings manually.

Once the CRM Server Options instance is no longer associated with a Sage 100 ERP company (from CRM Company Options records being deleted) then you can use the Delete key to remove that instance from within CRM Server Options (Sage 100 ERP, Customer Relationship Management, Main, CRM Server Options).

Of course, back up your entire \MAS90 folder and the CRM database before making changes.

If there are problems with how integration is set up then it may be best to remove/Delete all the CRM Company Options and CRM Server Options within Sage 100 ERP and set it all up again fresh.

No additional comment was posted, but for others that may have same question.

While Sage 100 version 2013 has been retired, and Sage 100 2014 is scheduled to be retired 9/30/17, we do have information available on the Sage Knowledgebase on the Sage Portal at https://support.na.sage.com to discuss what was requested - "breaking" the Sage 100 and Sage CRM integration.

While it would be recommended to use a Sage Partner/Reseller for assistance, if you would like to do the steps yourself, you can check the Knowledgebase Articles:

(of course, back up your entire ...\MAS90 folder for Sage 100 and the CRM Database in SQL before following steps)

For information on "How to remove CRM Integration from Sage 100 versions 2013 and later" see Knowledgebase Article # 73826.

In the case above you would want to set up integration again in one Sage 100 company, so it would be best to review the information on "How to remove and reconfigure CRM integration for Sage 100" see Knowledgebase Article # 51582.

You cannot select Delete on Company Options screen so you would need to manually delete the link between that Sage 100 company (Company Options) and the CRM Server Options instance it is linked to. This can be tricky so it may be cleanest to "break" the integration with all Sage 100 companies (Delete the CRM Server Options instance) and then recreate the Server Options and then the Company Options for the desired Sage 100 company.
When the Sage 100 CRM Server Options instance is recreated, it will want to automatically do a Rebuild CRM process to rebuild the mirror tables in Sage 100 for CRM.
