Did you use the Standard Cost Adjustment utilities?

The PO is defaulting to the current average cost.  To set up vendor pricing, select the item in item maintenance and then choose the Vendors screen from the drop-down More box in the upper right hand portion of the Item Maintenance screen.  From there you select the correct vendor and select the button for Vendor Pricing and then you can enter the current vendor price.  From this point on, the cost on the PO will be this price until you change it.  I hope this helps!

Do you want to change the cost of the current inventory or just the cost on the new stuff coming in?

Cost of new stuff coming in.

There is no option under Item Vendor Maintenance to change the cost.

The only cost visible on this pop-up is the last cost.  And it is greyed out.

In Item Vendor Maintenance click on the line holding the correct vendor and you should see a button become active for Item Vendor Pricing.  See this screen shot below:

You can set pricing options for all items from a vendor, for one product line, or for a specific item.  Your options for setting a price include a Cost Discount %, and Cost Discount $ Amount, and a STD price.

If one of these don't work , you could use VI to import this as well.
