VI Invoice type

Question

I am trying to convert the various invoice types to a type my customer is using in their system. While I'm familiar with if/ then statements, I do not know how to accomplish this with VI. For example: if the invoice type is IN, the customer wants the export to read DR.

Quick thoughts: 
 - put the invoice type in a temp field 
 - Assign your value (DR), conditional on the temp field equaling the correct type (IN) 
 - Add other assignments for the other types. 
 
 Edit: 
 Sorry... you might have to use a calculation instead of an assignment. I mainly work with imports, not exports.

In VI you use conditional statements and have the field appear multiple times.
