Calling all bookkeepers—this one’s for you!
At Sage, we love our bookkeeper friends. To help show the love, from September 21-25, 2015, we’ll be celebrating bookkeeping and all the things that bookkeepers do for their clients. During this “Bookkeeper Appreciation Week” we’ll be partnering with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) to bring you events and activities. We’ll also be featuring some inspiring stories from several Sage bookkeepers on our Sage City blog and across our Sage North America Facebook and Twitter accounts.
For a full schedule of events, be sure to check out the bookkeeper forum on Sage City and with ICB global. We’ll give you all the details on our special webcast for bookkeepers and small businesses, Twitter chat on value pricing featuring Ed Kless, and much more.
If you’re a bookkeeper, you won’t want to miss it!

SMEs need insight into their data as much as big companies—if not more In a climate of economic volatility, changing consumers, and globalized competition, small to medium enterprises (SMEs) need access to accurate, actionable business insight even more than bigger enterprises do, says Charles Teversham, MD of Sage Alchemex, developer of Sage Intelligence. “Most SMEs are operating on tight margins and don’t have endless reservoirs of cash and credit. They need up-to-the-minute information about trends in their businesses so that they can quickly identify problems, react to emerging challenges, and anticipate opportunities,” he adds.
